Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)

Eyelid surgery enhances the beauty of your eyes by giving you a well-rested and rejuvenated appearance.

Procedure:

By removing fat, along with excess skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids a brighter and fresh look can be achieved. This procedure is usually done on an outpatient basis with local anesthesia and sedation. This procedure can also be done with laser technique.

Recovery:

Pain is usually mild following the procedure. Patients will want to use cold compresses to reduce swelling. Sutures are removed within one week and most people are back to work in about 7 days.

Results:

Results will be bright and "bag-less" eyes.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Scars will be nearly invisible because the incisions will follow the natural of the eye. Every precaution will be made to make certain that scarring is minimal. Some procedures can be done on the inside of the eyelid which leave no visible scar.

How long will this procedure take?

The procedure usually takes between one and three hours.

Will it make my eyes look different?

Your eyes will look fresher and more rested, but their shape will remain unchanged.
