Laser Skin Resurfacing

Skin resurfacing reveals a smoother and more youthful complexion.

Procedure:

Laser skin resurfacing, sometimes called a "laser peel," uses a carbon dioxide laser to remove areas of damaged or wrinkled skin, layer by layer. This new technique offers fine precision, little bleeding and less post-operative discomfort than other resurfacing methods. The skin will need several weeks to heal completely and a pink color will be present for a few weeks to months afterwards. This can be easily concealed with makeup until your new skin has a chance to reveal itself.

Result:

Wrinkles are smoothed, discoloration and blotches are reoved or imporved and a newer, fresher skin is revealed.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How is laser resurfacing different from chemical peels or dermabrasion?

There are some similarities, but in general the laser technique can smooth out surface irregularities better than a chemical peel and tightens the skin better than dermabrasion.
